Your Role in Our Journey
Wine Enthusiast is looking for a part time marketing copywriter to support the needs of our Commerce
Creative Brand team. You’ll be primarily involved in the digital copy development for Wine Enthusiast
Shop, creating marketing and sales content that promotes our products and supports an excellent
customer experience.
What You'll Be Uncorking
Key Responsibilities:
Crafting and editing copy for product description pages, landing pages and
content marketing pieces, as well as print catalog and direct mail pieces that align with the Wine
Enthusiast voice and tone including:
- Comprehensive product descriptions for PDPs that bring our products to life, working with merchandising and marketing teams to identify key benefits and angles for new products
- SEO footer copy, FAQs, buying guides and other SEO-focused initiatives
- Meta titles and descriptions
- Content for category and brand landing pages
- Headlines and supporting copy for Home Page promotions
- Content marketing articles and guides revolving around our products and expertise
- Email campaigns and social media advertising assets
- Audits of and revisions to existing content and PDPs
- Headline and product copy for direct mail print pieces: catalogs, postcards, etc
- Support Content Director and creative team with special projects
- Help maintain Commerce Copy Style guide
- Proof catalog and other assets to ensure accuracy, consistency and error-free copy
Location: This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule, requiring employees to be onsite at our Valhalla, NY headquarters twice per week, with Tuesday designated as a required in-office day.
Hours: 25 hours, Monday - Friday
Rate: $30 - $40/hour, depending on experience
The Perfect Blend (What You Bring to the Table)
Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years in product marketing copy/content writing for a national or global lifestyle brand
- Luxury lifestyle/furnishings or wine products industry background preferred
- Understanding of SEO best practices and keyword research
- Strong editing/proofreading skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools
- Experience with Wordpress
- Existing knowledge about wine a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or related
