SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST – JOB DESCRIPTION
Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for shaping and elevating the online presence of Luke Family of Brands through engaging, on-brand digital content. The Social Media Specialist focuses on creating and curating original copy, photos and videos that tell the story of Luke Convenience Stores, County Line Orchard, LiqGo and other Luke business divisions across multiple media platforms. The Social Media Specialist manages daily posting, audience engagement and community interaction to build brand awareness, strengthen customer relationships and drive marketing goals. The Social Media Specialist ensures the company’s image and voice remain consistent, creative and aligned with overall brand strategy. The Social Media Specialist will report directly to the Director of Marketing.
Social Media Specialist duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop, schedule and publish engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.)
- Support social media strategy to increase brand awareness, audience engagement and community growth
- Manage day-to-day community interactions- responding to comments, messages and engaging with followers in brand voice
- Collaborate with marketing, design and content teams to align social media content with campaigns and overall brand messaging
- Track performance metrics and prepare regular reports with insights and recommendations for optimizations
- Stay up to date on platform updates, trends and emerging content formats
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, social first storytelling and audience engagement initiatives
Experience/Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Marketing or equivalent experience
- Two (2) years of related experience
- Understanding of social media KPIs, algorithms and best practices across platforms
- Basic knowledge of design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) or video software
Preferred Skills:
- Strong copywriting, visual storytelling and content planning skills
- Proactive, creative mindset with ability to work collaboratively and independently
Hours: The Social Media Specialist is a full time position and works a minimum of a minimum of 40 hours per week
Salary/Income: The Social Media Specialist is an exempt, salaried position
This position is 100% in office.
