Position Title: Digital Marketing Specialist
Department: 2032|Distance Learning
Responsibilities:
The Digital Marketing Specialist will work with the UL Lafayette Online marketing and communications team to create and maintain paid campaigns that align with organic efforts and University brand standards.
The ideal Digital Marketing Specialist candidate will be a data-driven professional prepared to develop a comprehensive understanding of the University’s online degree program offerings and the populations we serve.
Primary duties include:
- Creating and executing campaigns across appropriate channels, including search and social;
- Providing copy and creative optimization recommendations;
- Conducting keyword, audience, and competitor research;
- Optimizing campaigns through A/B testing, targeting, etc;
- Managing ad spend budgets and providing recommendations;
- Recommending and implementing updates to optimize for departmental goals;
- Remaining current on PPC best practices, trends, and changes;
- Collaborating with external partners and vendors, as needed;
- Evaluating and report on results;
- Identifying and researching new tactics based on audience and goals;
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with managing accounts and campaigns on multiple channels, including but not limited to Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Proficient in Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and Google Tag Manager
- Ability to effectively communicate and develop meaningful reports
