Position Overview
This is a high-impact role for someone who can balance creativity, channel mastery, and analytics/performance measurement. Responsible for developing and implementing strategies that drive engaging, unique, shareable and on-brand content across the 23XI Racing digital channels, the Director of Digital Marketing is a multi-faceted role focusing on brand development, partnership marketing and data analytics. This role is responsible for generating brand value and cultivating fan interaction, engagement and dialogue around the team, its drivers, and partners by developing social/digital marketing plans while implementing and executing digital strategies and tactics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
General
- Develop and execute innovative digital marketing strategies to drive business success and achieve organizational goals
- Utilize data and analytics to track performance and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign effectiveness and achieve desired results
- Lead, design and oversee all aspects of our 23XI Racing digital marketing efforts including our website, social media platforms, marketing database, email, content and paid media campaigns to grow audience engagement across all platforms
- Lead the creation of compelling, on-brand campaigns for launches, event and season initiatives
- Coordinate with agencies to manage paid media investments
- Manage social channels on race weekends, in conjunction with the digital team
- Own day-to-day use of MarTech tools (MailChimp, Google Analytics, Slate, etc) and recommend enhancements to support scaling
- Leverage analytics to optimize performance and data-driven insights across channels, using KPIs to guide investments and strategic pivots.
- Prepare performance reports for channel, brand and partner marketing campaign performance
- Assist in presentation preparation including building PowerPoint slides and running campaign analytics
- Mentor and coach direct reports, provide ongoing feedback and develop opportunities to foster creativity and professional growth
- Oversee the management of the 23XI social media content calendar
- Other duties as assigned by Manager
Brand
- Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies tailored to 23XI’s brand objectives and narrative
- Identify and establish collaborations with relevant industry influencers, platforms, and organizations to expand reach and enhance brand awareness and market expansion
- Implement and develop strategies to grow 23XI Racing social media followers and general brand awareness
- Ensure brand identity remains cohesive while evolving to stay ahead of cultural and creative trends
- Map out and manage a rolling digital campaign calendar aligned with brand and partner initiatives
Partnerships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand partner objectives and develop integrated digital marketing plans that align with overall partnership goals
- Act as the primary point of contact for our external partners for all digital needs
- Leverage data driven insights to inform and guide digital tactics that deliver value to our partners
- Own partner program strategy and work with external agencies to help meet program objectives
Required Skills, Experience and Abilities
To perform the job successfully, you should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field
- 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media, communications
- Experience working in a professional sport environment preferred
- Experience with digital and social media strategies and tactics
- Experience with ROI/analytics tools and building detailed reports
- Knowledge of Associated Press style and editing
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and other computer software
- Excellent grammar and creative writing skills
- Strong planning, project management, attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Ability to foster positive relationships among peers, managers, and organizational partners
