Position Summary
Focus Partners Wealth is seeking a Director of Digital Growth to join our team! The Director of Digital Growth is responsible for driving lead generation, client acquisition and engagement for Focus Partners by translating business growth objectives into measurable marketing strategies. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer, this role oversees the planning, execution, and measurement of multi-channel digital campaigns that deliver growth and measurable ROI.
To accomplish these goals, the individual will oversee various functional areas including i) marketing data and analytics ii) digital and website presence, including SEO as well as iii) channel strategies, including ownership of paid media campaign planning and execution and journeys tailored to specific marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in performance marketing and a proven track record managing large-scale budgets. They combine strategic planning with hands-on execution, leveraging cross-channel expertise to optimize campaigns, and generate qualified leads. They are highly collaborative, working seamlessly with in-house content, design, and communications teams, as well as external agency partners.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the digital growth strategy to support lead generation, client acquisition and firm-wide marketing goals.
- Partner with senior leadership to align marketing goals with firmwide business objectives and client segmentation strategies.
- Translate business objectives into digital marketing strategies that span paid search, paid social, display, SEO, and email.
- Oversee execution and optimization of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring they align with brand, compliance, and client needs.
- Own website and digital property strategy, collaborating with internal teams to optimize user journeys, lead generation, event attendance and conversion.
- Manage and allocate a multi-million-dollar ad budget across platforms to maximize ROI and client acquisition.
- Manage functional teams (marketing data, website/SEO) guiding and mentoring team members, ensuring strategic plans are executed to a high standard.
- Manage agency relationships to drive accountability and performance, while ensuring seamless integration with in-house teams.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Partner with brand strategy and content teams to ensure the creation of high-quality content reflecting the firm’s voice and values to drive lead generation.
- Stay ahead of evolving digital trends and innovations, especially in relation to AI; testing new channels, tools, and techniques to enhance campaign impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Specialized education in marketing, business, communications, or related field preferred. Advanced degrees a plus.
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on client acquisition; financial services or other regulated industry experience strongly preferred.
- Proven track record managing large-scale ad budgets (multi-million dollars) and delivering measurable ROI.
- Expertise in SEO/SEM, paid social, display advertising, programmatic media, and conversion rate optimization.
- Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Pardot).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics, Tag Manager, and attribution modeling.
- Hands-on campaign management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with design, content, and communications partners.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills, with experience managing agencies and internal teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic planning with tactical execution.
The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $175,000- $195,000.  Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set.  The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.  Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
