Job Summary:
The Performance Director is responsible for leading the SEM & Social teams to deliver performance marketing strategies for our clients. This role requires strong leadership skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing teams, developing innovative campaigns, and driving business growth through data-driven insights.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the performance team to develop and execute performance marketing strategies across multiple channels, including search engine marketing, social media advertising, email marketing, and more.
- Collaborate with client partners to understand business objectives, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop customized solutions to drive ROI.
- Manage client relationships, ensuring timely communication and reporting on campaign performance, budget management, and strategic recommendations.
- Develop and implement agency processes and workflows to ensure efficiency, quality control, and scalability.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in performance marketing, incorporating new ideas and approaches to continuously improve team performance.
- Identify areas for process improvements and optimize existing workflows to increase productivity and efficiency.
- Work closely with other departments within the agency to align efforts and leverage resources effectively.
Job Qualifications:
- Experience in performance marketing, preferably in an agency role.
- Proven track record of success in leading and growing high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable conclusions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong, up to date, media landscape knowledge (confidently able to articulate macroeconomic and consumer trends and forecast challenges/opportunities for clients)
- Google Analytics experience (GA4)
- Solid understanding of digital marketing platforms, including Google Ads, SA360, Performance Max (PMAX), Demand Gen, Bing Ads, Meta, and other major platforms.
