Canada is entering a re-armament and modernization cycle (NORAD, Arctic, C4ISR, autonomy). To win, we must shape the narrative around sovereign, attritable, software-heavy capability, and turn real field results into market demand, partner pull, and program momentum. We build → show → sell. We need a marketing leader who can translate deployments into clear positioning, measurable demand, and sustained brand authority across Canada and Five-Eyes/NATO.
The Role: Head of Marketing
You’ll own marketing end-to-end, brand, product marketing, content, demand generation, digital, PR, and events. Your mandate: convert deployments of AuraNet/JADC2-North and CCA into pipeline, partner momentum, talent attraction, and national credibility.
What You'll Do
- Architect and execute marketing strategy across AuraNet, CCA, and future programs. 
-  positioning, messaging, and value props for CAF, PSPC, ISED, TBS/SSC, provinces, and allies. 
- Produce crisp narratives on attritable autonomy, Arctic awareness, and sovereign C2. 
- Build product marketing (platform, modules, roadmaps, buying paths). 
- Run a high-tempo content engine: case studies, briefs, videos, executive decks. 
- Stand up account-based marketing (ABM) and digital ops tied to pipeline. 
- Lead PR, analyst, and ecosystem relations; plan around CANSEC, DEFSEC, ACADA, MASS. 
- Prep executives for keynotes, testimony, and media. 
- Hire and lead a small, high-output team; maintain a living Marketing Playbook. 
What You Bring
- 8+ years in product marketing/marketing leadership in defence, aerospace, dual-use, or mission-critical enterprise. 
- Shipped end-to-end launches for complex platforms (hardware + software) with measurable demand impact. 
- Demonstrated ABM/enterprise marketing chops: segmentation, journeys, offers, and attribution. 
- Strong technical storytelling: can turn telemetry, TTPs, and system performance into clear value for non-engineers. 
- Media/PR experience with high-stakes stakeholders; confident executive communications. 
- Comfortable with security/compliance constraints (OPSEC, ITAR/CGP fundamentals) and disciplined review processes. 
- Eligibility for Canadian security clearances; Canadian citizenship preferred. Bilingual (EN/FR) an asset.
