We are hiring a Paid Social Manager to our growth marketing team. This position reports to the Senior Director of Acquisition Marketing and will take Away further by owning the strategy, management and execution of Away’s paid social portfolio. The ideal candidate will have proven experience driving full funnel customer acquisition via social media channels in a fast-paced, growth focused organization.
What you’ll do as the Paid Social Manager
- You’ll own the channel-level strategy, execution, and tracking of paid social channels (including but not limited to Meta, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, and new channel testing) to support Away’s omni-channel full funnel growth goals 
- You’ll manage multi-million dollar media spend (forecasting, tracking daily/weekly pacing, etc.) 
- You’ll ensure a measurement strategy, reliable tracking capabilities, and robust ROI reporting are in place for all paid social channels, fully leveraging our Martech tools 
- You’ll drive creative strategy and testing roadmap in partnership with Brand and Creative teams, balancing brand storytelling with performance and channel best practices 
- You’ll serve as a key stakeholder in the Away influencer strategy, driving the roadmap, execution, and tracking of Paid influencer content 
- You’ll be responsible for the full customer journey from Paid Social ad to the website, partnering with the ecomm team to optimize landing page experience and improve funnel KPIs 
- You’ll manage a team of external partners and tools to support the day to day strategy and operations of the Paid Social channels 
- You’ll develop and manage rigorous testing among the entire channel mix to identify, size, and pursue new opportunities for channel growth and optimization across customer segments and in support of broader Away strategic pillars 
- You’ll serve as the internal Paid Social marketing expert to build up organizational competences by staying ahead of platform changes and best practices 
Who you are
- You’re an experienced paid social specialist, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant paid social experience in a data-driven, high-growth environment; experience at an omni channel retailer with DTC roots strongly preferred, but not required 
- You have a proven track record of managing multi-million dollar annual budgets with rigorous performance targets 
- You have experience managing a Paid Social program in-house 
- You’re extremely organized, detail-oriented, process oriented and thrive at proactively managing multiple workstreams 
- You have exceptional analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills, with a technical lean; exceptional skillset in Excel, Web Analytics tools (e.g. GA, Amplitude), and Dashboarding platforms (e.g. Looker, Tableau) required 
- You’re an early adopter of new technology and eager to disrupt old ways of working using AI tools 
- You possess superior leadership and collaboration skills, with high level of initiative and self-direction 
- You’re creative and innovative; you love to build great new things that are fresh and unique while staying on brand 
- You’re agile, and motivated by a fast-paced and ever changing environment 
- You’re passionate about transforming travel for all (but that’s a given!)

What We Offer
Our total rewards are inclusive of both compensation and benefits. What we offer within a salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including scope and qualifications for the role, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to other Away employees. Salary and benefit offerings are reviewed during phone screenings to ensure alignment.
- Compensation: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 annually 
- This role is eligible to participate in Away’s Annual Company Performance Incentive Bonus Plan, the terms of which are determined at the discretion of the company

How We Work
This is an office-based position that works from our Soho, NYC office four days a week. Our working hours are 9am-6pm et, but we embrace a common-sense approach to flexibility in the workplace. It’s about being present, engaged, and balancing work with real-life needs.
