Location & Schedule: This is a full-time, 37.5-hour-per-week position with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. There is no relocation or housing assistance for this position.
Compensation Range: Ranges from 26CAD - 35CAD. Specific compensation is set according to a standardized scale aligned with your educational level at the time of hire.

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative Social Media Intern to join our Demand Generation team for the summer. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you’ll help tell SharkNinja’s story on social media through branded content and influencer partnerships. We’re looking for someone who thinks outside the box and pushes boundaries as we continue to achieve more than we ever imagined.
Here are some of the exciting things you’ll get to do:
- Social Media Management: Create for all Canadian social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram and TikTok.
- Community Management: Actively monitor and respond to community feedback, inquiries, and discussions in a timely and professional manner, representing our brand voice and values.
- Content Creation & Scheduling: Create and curate engaging content, including posts, polls, contests, and events, to stimulate interaction and participation within the community. Make sure social media calendar is updated with latest plans.
- Copywriting and Editing: Craft clear, concise, and compelling copy for various social media posts.
- Influencer outreach: Be in the know of the “who’s who” in the Canadian influencer landscape and make recommendations based on upcoming product launches and seasonal moments. Stay informed about industry trends and social media best practices to enhance the company's online presence.
- Sample order processing: Support paid, organic and PR seeding efforts by ordering product samples and ensuring timely delivery.
- Analytics and Reporting: Provide regular reports on key metrics and insights, suggesting improvements for optimization.
Key Attributes & Skills:
- Education:Current student in their third year or beyond of a bachelor's program
- Must be able to come into the office 3 days per week.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences and adapt to various communication styles.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with community members, address concerns, and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and results-driven mindset.
- Passion for our brand and industry, with a genuine interest in building relationships and fostering community engagement.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
