Job Summary:

Cohen & Steers, a global asset manager and leader in listed real assets and alternative income, seeks an experienced professional to lead our digital marketing team and strategy. This person’s responsibility will span Cohen & Steers web properties, email marketing, lead generation programs, and analytics.

Job Title: Vice President, Digital Marketing

Reports To: Senior Vice President, Head of Corporate Communications and Digital Marketing

FLSA Code: Exempt

Estimated Salary: $170,000 – $190,000

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive digital marketing strategy and roadmap that aligns with Cohen & Steers’ global objectives, drives meaningful engagement with clients, and enhances the firm’s brand recognition.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of four digital marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative, results-driven and innovative environment.
  • Define clear responsibilities, SLAs, and KPIs for digital marketers, and hold the team accountable for their deliverables.
  • Lead the management and optimization of Cohen & Steers’ digital assets, including our websites, email marketing, SEO, intranet, and sales enablement tools.
  • Facilitate open, transparent communication across teams and establish strong partnerships with internal stakeholders (executive leadership, IT, channel marketing, corporate communications, creative, distribution, legal and product) and external agencies.
  • Manage multiple digital marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key digital metrics, using data-driven insights to optimize performance and inform decision-making across all digital initiatives.
  • Oversee the development and execution of the firm’s digital roadmap, managing the project intake system to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and efficient resource allocation.
  • Inform targeted email marketing campaigns and lead generation programs, as well as the overall email and lead management strategy, that drive client engagement, acquisition, and retention.
  • Ensure digital marketing is integrated within the firm’s aligned owned, earned and paid media strategy.
  • Keep abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously innovate and elevate Cohen & Steers’ digital marketing efforts.

 Minimum Requirements:

  • 10+ years of digital marketing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a digital marketing team, with experience managing direct reports.
  • Extensive experience managing complex digital projects from concept to completion, with a strong ability to meet deadlines and manage resources.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex digital projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with web analytics tools, marketing automation, CMS, and CRMs. Preferred experience with: Google Analytics, WordPress, Salesforce and Pardot.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships across different departments, with the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data to drive decisions, optimize sites and campaigns, and measure ROI.
  • Familiarity with the asset management industry, including knowledge of financial products and regulatory requirements, is preferred.
