As an SEO Consultant at SALT.agency, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional technical and strategic SEO services while managing client accounts.
You’ll work with a team to solve marketing challenges, guide SEO and content campaigns, and elevate client business performance. Your relationship-building skills will be key to fostering strong partnerships with clients and colleagues alike.
As a seasoned professional, you will also coach and mentor team members, embodying our company values and driving personal and collective growth.
What you’ll do:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the client and our team, ensuring smooth communication, project alignment and client satisfaction
- Develop, execute and oversee SEO and content strategies, leveraging both technical and strategic SEO expertise to achieve client objectives.
- Analyze complex SEO data to inform both strategic and technical decisions, driving measurable improvements in client performance.
- Offer a balanced mix of technical and strategic SEO consulting, including on-page optimization, technical SEO audits, and performance tracking.
- Design comprehensive SEO campaigns that align with both strategic goals and technical needs, ensuring long-term client success.
- Coordinate SEO projects from inception to delivery, ensuring that timelines, quality standards, and budget requirements are met.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of SEO deliverables, making sure that all work is up to high standards in terms of results, timing, cost, and client satisfaction.
- Build resource plans, delegate tasks, and allocate appropriate expertise to meet project demands while mentoring junior team members.
About you:
- 5+ years of SEO consulting experience, preferably in an agency setting, with a proven track record in technical SEO and client management.
- Expert knowledge of tools like Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, or similar.
- Proficient in performing technical SEO audits, optimizing page speed, and enhancing user experience.
- Strong organizational skills, capable of driving projects from start to finish within deadlines.
- Excellent rapport skills, able to build and maintain strong working relationships with both clients and internal teams.
- Collaborative and proactive in delivering solutions to complex SEO challenges.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening skills, with the ability to present data and ideas clearly.
- Ability to interpret SEO data and present actionable insights in a concise manner.
