Established in 1992, Applegreen is a leading convenience roadside retailer in the Republic of Ireland, the UK and the US in both large-scale Motorway Service Areas and Travel Plazas, as well as smaller petrol stations. The business has grown to over €3BN in annual revenue, operating 600 Motorway Service Plazas and forecourt sites internationally and employing over 16,000 people.
Applegreen is in a rapid growth phase and to support this ambitious growth, we are seeking to onboard a Digital Content Executive to join our new team.
This role will form part of the Commercial team and reports to the Head of Digital & Partnerships. It is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to excel. The successful candidate will be a confident people person who can fit into Applegreenseamlessly and adopt a hands-on approach to their role.
Key Responsibilities:
CAMPAIGN ACTIVATION
· Champion Applegreen’s digital-out-of-home network, driving adoption internally and with 3rd party suppliers and brands.
· Engage with internal and external stakeholders to manage the deployment of digital signage content across our store network ensuring campaigns are successfully executed and relationships are developed.
· Work with internal and external stakeholders to develop market leading omnichannel campaign plans and activations that inform and delight our customers. Create and deliver dynamic sales presentations that highlight Applegreen’s leading digital out of home portfolio.
· Support and collaborate with the Marketing function on digitally led content development and champion best in class digital out of home practices.
· Utilise data and analytics tools to measure campaign performance and demonstrate return on investment. Provide post campaign support to internal and external stakeholders across performance and campaign delivery KPIs.
· Oversee servicing and maintenance of the digital signage / out of home portfolio.
VOICE OF THE CUSTOMER
· Design, execute and analyse customer surveys across in-store and online channels that will guide a best-in-class customer centric experience.
· Work closely with Customer Care team to provide a comprehensive view of the customer experience and a holistic voice of the customer.
· Translate data into clear concise and actionable insights for stakeholders.
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION
· Support the overall digital strategy from concept through to implementation and ongoing continuous improvement.
The Candidate should have the following:
Qualifications, experience & skills
· 1-2 years in a digital or marketing role, gained within a customer centric B2C environment.
· Experienced with market research and experience conducting surveys or focus groups.
· Strong understanding of analytics principles and processes with proficiency in data analysis tools [Excel, data visualisation tools].
· Experienced with content management systems, preferably digital signage.
· Understanding of media planning process.
· Strong understanding of the creative content process.
· Attention to detail and strong project management skills.
