Its two titles, <em>The Stage</em> and <em>The Bookseller</em>, are established leaders within their respective fields, offering industry news, authoritative reviews and insightful features.</p><p>We are seeking a&nbsp;<strong>Subscriptions Marketing Executive</strong> to support and deliver marketing activity for <em>The Stage&nbsp;</em>and&nbsp;<em>The Bookseller</em>,&nbsp;to drive subscriber acquisition, engagement, and retention.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Why this role is important</strong></p><p>You’ll be joining a dynamic and ambitious team, where you&nbsp;will act&nbsp;as the in-house specialist for subscription campaigns.&nbsp;This role focuses on subscription growth and customer loyalty, working closely with the Senior Marketing Executives, Brand Marketing Manager and wider team to ensure aligned but distinct marketing activity.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>What you will do&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Support subscription growth through targeted marketing campaigns designed to acquire and retain subscribers.</li><li>Lead on focused subscription campaigns, working in partnership with the Senior Marketing Executives and Brand Marketing Manager to ensure subscription campaigns align with wider activity. </li><li>Manage group subscriber activity and liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth service and engagement.</li><li>Deliver campaigns that drive event-related subscription sales and renewals.</li><li>Coordinate subscription-focused newsletters, print ads, and digital touchpoints.</li><li>Plan and deliver trial campaigns designed to convert prospects into paying subscribers.</li><li>Produce weekly and monthly reports on subscription performance, identifying key trends and opportunities.</li><li>Brief design elements for subscription campaigns, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and wider campaign assets.</li><li>Manage reciprocal advertising partnerships that support subscriptions.</li><li>Oversee subscription-focused website content to ensure it is engaging, accurate, and optimised for conversions.</li></ul><p><strong>What we're looking for:</strong><br></p><ul><li>Experience in subscriptions marketing, preferably within publishing or media.</li><li>Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns.</li><li>Confidence in data handling and reporting to track and evaluate performance.</li><li>Able to work both independently and as part of a team.</li><li>Creative thinker, with the ability to brief designers and contribute campaign ideas.</li><li>Proactive and shows initiative to complete on actions.</li><li>Clear communicator, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.</li><li>Commitment to personal development.<strong></strong></li></ul><p><strong>Other information:</strong><br></p><p>Normal working hours are 9am - 5pm, with occasional evening or weekend work to cover events. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, requiring at least three days a week at The Stage Media Co’s office on Bermondsey Street, SE1, with opportunities for remote work on the other days.</p><p>Please note we start screening CVs and interviewing candidates from the start of a campaign.
