We take huge pride in our environment and culture within the Club which focuses on development, inclusion and not being afraid to think differently.</p><p>Being progressive, humble and respectful while sticking together as one team across the Club guides how we work and the decisions we make each day.</p><p>We also firmly believe that a diverse workforce is a better workforce which will help us develop ideas, solve problems and ultimately grow Brentford FC.</p><p>We play in a brand-new stadium, 15 minutes from Heathrow in vibrant west London.</p><p>We will never forget where we have come from, but we are excited about the future that lies ahead.</p><p>Come join us.<br></p><p><strong>Job Overview&nbsp;</strong></p><p>We’re looking for a pro-active, versatile&nbsp;Local Marketing Executive to help drive attendance, awareness, and engagement at Wheatsheaf Park and within the local area.&nbsp;</p><p>Wheatsheaf Park is an important part of the club’s growth strategy to reach new audiences, enhance our brand and inspire people to follow the talent of tomorrow as they progress to the first team.</p><p>The role will focus on increasing attendance at Wheatsheaf Park and enhancing local interest in fixtures and events. The local marketing executive will develop the club’s relationship within the community, enhancing our reputation locally and attracting new, loyal fans. </p><p>You will directly impact the club’s off-field strategy which focuses on increasing Wheatsheaf Park’s commercial proposition and engagement, growing Brentford’s fan base and enhancing storytelling and brand narrative surrounding our Academy and Women’s Team.</p><p>You will work within the Marketing Services department, working closely with the Fan &amp; Community Relations team, Brentford FC Community Sports Trust, Academy and local stakeholders to strengthen connections across Staines and surrounding areas, turning awareness into action and supporters into advocates. Your time will be split between the head office (Vantage London) and around the local area of Wheatsheaf Park. </p><p>We are looking for someone who thrives on local engagement, creative problem solving, and direct action. </p><p>As the role develops and the impact grows, there will be scope to expand into broader marketing responsibilities, working closely with the wider Brentford marketing team and contributing to additional club initiatives.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About Wheatsheaf Park:</strong></p><p>Located in Staines-upon-Thames, Wheatsheaf Park has been home to Brentford FC Academy since 2023, with the stadium also hosting several Brentford FC Women fixtures each season. As Staines is a key area for growing our supporter base, Wheatsheaf Park helps attract new fans by showcasing Brentford’s future stars - reflecting the club’s commitment to developing young talent.</p><p><strong>Main Accountabilities</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Drive attendance</strong> - plan and execute local marketing campaigns to boost matchday attendance and event participation at Wheatsheaf Park.</li></ul><ul><li><strong>Community engagement</strong> - work with the Community Outreach team to develop strong relationships and excitement within schools, community groups and local businesses. </li><li><strong>Local marketing </strong>- deliver marketing activities such as physical advertising, local partnerships, pop-ups, and event presence to increase visibility and engagement.</li><li><strong>Digital marketing</strong> –Work with the Club Marketing and Insights teams to identify and target key online audiences for promoting fixtures. Strengthen the digital presence and visibility of Brentford’s Academy and Wheatsheaf Park</li><li><strong>Brand advocacy</strong> - be a visible, trusted representative of the club within the community, embodying Brentford’s values.</li><li><strong>Measurement and reporting</strong> - track engagement, attendance, and local sentiment to evaluate success and inform future activity.</li></ul><ul><li><strong>Content and communications</strong> – work closely with the Brentford comms and content teams to align messaging and promotions to amplify stories that increase engagement. </li></ul><ul><li><strong>Stakeholder management -</strong> work closely with Brentford Academy representatives, local stakeholders and wider club departments to support messaging, schedules, and promotional activities.</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge</strong></p><ul><li>2–3 years’ experience in a community engagement or local marketing role.</li><li>Proven track record of hands-on local marketing to increase engagement.</li><li>Creative, proactive, and passionate about football, local culture, and connecting people through sport.</li><li>Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple activities and stakeholders.</li><li>A self-starter who takes initiative and thrives on tangible results.</li></ul><p><strong>Specialist Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Driving licence </li></ul><p><strong>People Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable networking and building relationships with the community.</li><li>Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends where required.</li></ul><p><strong>External Impact</strong></p><ul><li>As a local marketing executive, you will be representing the club within the community, embodying Brentford’s values and having an impact in the local area. </li></ul><p><strong>Decision Making</strong></p><ul><li>Along with the Senior Marketing Executive and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for decision-making relating to local marketing activity </li></ul><p><strong>Innovation</strong></p><ul><li>Creative problem-solving and develop innovate ideas to drive engagement </li><li>Critical thinking and analysis to monitor what works</li></ul><p><strong>General Club Accountabilities</strong></p><ul><li>To ensure compliance with all relevant Club policies, including safeguarding, health and safety policies and with specific reference to the data regulations (GDPR and PECR)</li><li>To ensure compliance with the Club’s Code of Conduct</li><li>To ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements</li><li>To build and maintain good working relationships both internally and externally, maintaining a professional image at all times when representing Brentford FC</li><li>To keep confidential any information gained regarding the Club and its personnel</li><li>To maintain a flexible approach to work at all times</li><li>To ensure compliance with all Matchday Safeguarding processes&nbsp;</li><li>To ensure compliance with the Club’s Safeguarding Policy and processes</li><li>To promote and support positive mental health and wellbeing throughout the Club both on and off the field</li><li>To promote equity, diversity and inclusion at the Club, in line with our EDI strategy</li></ul><div><br></div><p><strong>Inclusion Statement</strong></p><p>Brentford FC is an organisation which values and is passionate about diversity and inclusivity.
